Sewing Center
ASSI helps the women increase their tailoring skills so that they can generate employment opportunities and supplementing family incomes. Tailoring itself is an acceptable profession for women in the community. Many of these ladies and girls have started their own business and have also started teaching others.
Self Help Group
In this Self-Help Group, 10-15 women meet once a month, and made a commitment to collect some amount of money within themselves and use it as a capital to start a new business. We are facilitating these Self-Help Groups and saw that many of them succeed in starting their own business and able to support their family.
