Upon the request of the local people, ASSI has started a rehabilitation counseling center for physically challenged person in Piprauli, Gorakhpur. Physiotherapist will visit twice in a week and give free treatment to the needed.
We also helped the disables to be able to support themselves by providing them vocational training and gave them micro loan. Their progress on the payment has been very good. ASSI had so far helped 100 individuals with microloan to start small businesses by doing so it has created self respect for the Handicap as well as brought income that has given a boost to their morale.
